J’ai commencé l’extraction de la série INTERSTICES en regardant, image par image, mon film court NOIRCEUR (2020), durant ma convalescence. Entre deux photos, se trouvent enfermées des images-intervalles qui se mélangent, se déchirent ou se contorsionnent.
Cette série constitue le départ d’une nouvelle énergie d’images en mouvement, contre le confinement et le conformisme, qui défie l’exactitude clinique innée de la photographie.
I began the extraction of the INTERSTICES series by looking, frame by frame, at NOIRCEUR (2020), during my convalescence. Between two pictures, there are enclosed images that mix, tear or contort.
This series is the beginning of a new energy of moving images, against confinement and conformism, defeating photography’s innate clinical accuracy.
